Wingfoil and Kitesurfing Lesson: Hybrid Lesson



Are you unsure about whether you would like to learn kitesurfing or wingfoiling? Why not get a lesson that teaches you the basics of both of these exciting wind powered sports? This lesson includes: 

* 2 continuous hours  of kitesurfing instruction (learning to fly a trainer kite, 5 meter kite, learning to body drag, learning how to activate the quick release, learning how to body drag to retrieve your board, learning the basic of the wind window and the theory behind the water start)

* 2 continuous  hours of wingfoiling instruction  (how to use wings to maximize your wingsurfing potential, the wind window, how to wingfoil safely, how to pump the board and the wing, wingfoiling and wing SUPing)

Learning how to wingfoil and to kitesurf usually requires 3-5 lessons, so this course is an exciting introduction to both of these sports. If you would like to learn the basics about both of these sports, then this is the class for you. 

* Safety gear is provided, such as a helmet and a lifejacket.

Bring printed and signed two copies of the  RELEASE OF LIABILITY and DECLARATION OF FITNESS forms to your instructor when you get a lesson.  You can send a photo of your signature to me at if you want to avoid using paper. You will receive a free ebook  on kiteboarding once you purchase this lesson. Minors must have their parents sign and date the parental consent form.Please let us know your waist sizes, so we can bring the right harnesses to the lesson.

Wetsuit booties are required for a lesson because the Back River has a muddy bottom. We can supply booties and wetsuits for you, or you can bring your own.
